Bringing people, programs, and purpose together to build cyber resilience across talent, practitioners, and the MSP ecosystem.
CyberRISE programs are practical, accessible, and community driven. We prioritize real world application, collaboration, and continuous improvement informed by outcomes and practitioner feedback.
Every CyberRISE program prioritizes hands-on experience in professional environments because practical skill development happens through doing, not just learning.
Students, practitioners, and MSPs work together across programs — creating a resilient ecosystem rather than isolated silos.
We measure and act on real data: participation quality, learning outcomes, practitioner clarity, and MSP stabilization. We then use that data to refine every engagement.
Programs evolve based on what works in practice. Practitioner feedback, participant outcomes, and real-world results shape every iteration of what we build and deliver.
CyberRISE operates three core programs that work together to strengthen the cybersecurity ecosystem — each serving a distinct audience while reinforcing shared outcomes.
A mentorship-driven pipeline connecting students and early-career professionals with real-world cybersecurity experience while contributing value back to practitioners and MSPs.
The Hackening connects students with hands-on penetration testing and security assessment experiences through structured mentorship. Participants build practical skills while delivering meaningful insights that support practitioners and the MSPs they serve.

Rapid-response support for Managed Service Providers facing cybersecurity incidents or significant operational strain
MSP911 provides case-based advisory support, proven playbooks, and volunteer practitioner support to help MSPs stabilize environments, recover from incidents, and strengthen long-term resilience. 50+ MSPs supported to date.
Program Director: Chris Loehr
MSP911 responds to real incidents and sees where defenses actually fail. Framework Maps takes those failure patterns and converts them into actionable implementation guidance. The Hackening puts students into supervised engagements that validate whether that guidance works in practice. Results feed back into MSP911 and Framework Maps.
Every program makes the others stronger. Every engagement generates insight that improves the whole ecosystem.
Individuals entering the field who need real-world experience, mentorship, and a clear pathway into the profession. The Hackening is built for them.
Working professionals who need practical tools to implement frameworks with clarity and confidence. Framework Maps is designed to support their day-to-day decisions.
